Objectives:

To determine the characteristics of rectifiers and filters and how the filter capacitor affects the ripple amplitude and output voltage.

Built in AC power supply of 9-0-9V @ 250 mA.
Half, Full wave, Bridge rectifiers are provided on board with L and C filters.
10K Potentiometer is provided for load variation.

Objectives:

To observe the regulation characteristics using Zener Diodes.

7805, 7905, 7812, 7912, 7815, 7915 fixed voltage regulators and LM 317T adjustable voltage regulator on board.
Potentiometer, Different values of resistors, capacitors and diodes on board.

Objectives:

To observe a low voltage regulated power supply (2-7V), and a high voltage power supply (7-35V) using IC 723 regulator.

Different values of resistors, capacitors, inductors and diodes with two potentiometers provided on board to vary the circuit output voltages.

To study how the Zener diode (which acts as bias reference for the regulator) regulates the output.
